Launch of New Application: Working at heights – Risk prevention
Training for working at height and installing telecommunications systems moves forward with the release of a new educational app designed to teach the full installation process of terrestrial and satellite antennas in a safe and practical way. This digital tool transforms a rooftop—normally a high-risk environment—into a guided and controlled learning space.
The experience places the user directly on the rooftop, where they must assemble the tower that will support the antennas and then install both a Yagi antenna and a satellite antenna— the latter mounted from the rooftop surface to ensure safety and stability. Once the outdoor installation is completed, learners move inside the equipment room to fine-tune the headend, replicating real professional procedures.
Throughout the training, the app reinforces key safety practices: choosing the right PPE and materials, using the anchor point, connecting to the lifeline, and applying safe procedures for working at height. Each step is presented clearly and interactively, making technical tasks easier to understand.
With this launch, educational institutions, training centers, and industry organizations gain a modern tool that combines technical rigor, realism, and safety. The app becomes a strategic resource for preparing future installers and telecommunications technicians, offering an immersive experience that brings real-world height-work scenarios into the classroom—without the associated risks.
