VIROO at Laval Virtual 2026
Scaling immersive training with MASTER XR, MIMBUS and industry recognition

VIROO, the enterprise XR infrastructure platform, will play a central role at Laval Virtual 2026 (April 8–10, Laval, France), reinforcing its position as a key enabler of XR across education, training, and industry.
As part of the European project MASTER XR, VIROO will be showcased alongside partners including XR2Learn, and MOTIVATE XR at Hall M – Booth M44.
The XR platform will demonstrate how organizations can deploy, manage, and scale immersive training programs in a centralized, secure environment, leveraging XR to improve engagement, knowledge retention, and operational readiness.
VIROO is also at the core of the Battery Boost use case—an industrial training project developed with Invest WindsorEssex, Palette Skills, Upskill Canada, and NextStar Energy that has been selected as a finalist in the Education & Training category at the Laval Virtual Awards 2026.
The project illustrates how VIROO‑powered XR experiences allow operators to practice complex tasks safely, shorten learning curves, and enhance real‑world performance on the factory floor.
VIROO will also be present in the industrial and defense conversation through María Madarieta Elordi, who will participate in the “Industry & Defense: When Immersive Innovation Strengthens Performance and Security” session at Laval Virtual 2026.

The panel, taking place on Wednesday, April 9, from 10:30 to 12:30, will bring together key experts from industry and defense to explore how XR technologies optimize operations, accelerate decision‑making, and strengthen security across both sectors.
From design and maintenance to training and simulation, VIROO‑powered immersive solutions serve as concrete examples of how XR is enabling safer, more effective training and operational readiness in high‑stake environments.
This is not new territory for Virtualware: with more than two decades of expertise delivering advanced simulation and training solutions, the company has built a strong track record supporting the Spanish Armed Forces and allied nations, actively collaborating with the Spanish Ministry of Defense, contributing to NATO working groups, and participating in leading international defense forums such as I/ITSEC, European Defence Innovation Days, and FEINDEF.
María Madarieta brings this depth of experience to the panel, positioning VIROO as a proven strategic tool for organizations where performance and security are non‑negotiable.
With MIMBUS recently announced as VIROO’s strategic partner in France, Laval Virtual 2026 becomes the natural stage to showcase this collaboration. Hosted in the heart of the French XR ecosystem, the event offers the ideal setting to connect with local organizations and demonstrate how VIROO enables enterprise‑grade immersive training at scale—from deployment to monitoring—making scalable XR learning a practical reality for the French market.
Laval Virtual 2026 is the ideal meeting point to build on this momentum.
