Launch of New Application: Adapted house
Learning for independent living takes an important step forward with the launch of a new application designed to strengthen domestic skills for people with special needs. This digital tool offers a safe, accessible, and adapted environment where learners can practice two essential tasks for personal autonomy in a practical and interactive way: setting the table and using the dishwasher correctly.
The experience takes place in an adapted home where Elena lives—a young woman who uses a wheelchair and has a mild cognitive disability, and who has achieved the independence needed to manage her daily life. Through different levels and scenarios, the application guides users step by step through each task, adapting to their learning pace.
The app is divided into two main modules:
- Perfect Table: learning basic protocols
This module includes three progressive levels in which learners practice everything from setting the table for one person, to preparing a breakfast for two, a lunch for three, or even an informal dinner for four guests. - Friendly Dishwasher: inclusive virtual solution
Also structured in three levels, this module teaches proper placement of small utensils, managing items of different sizes, and performing full dishwasher maintenance, including filter cleaning, spray arm checks, and good usage practices.
Each activity combines accessibility, pedagogical clarity, and a visual presentation that makes every step easy to understand, reinforcing safety, order, and decision-making in the home.
With this launch, educational centers, social entities, and support professionals gain a modern tool that promotes autonomy and strengthens essential daily-living skills. The application becomes an inclusive and practical resource to help people with special needs move toward greater independence in their everyday lives.
