New Application for Practical Learning on Low-Voltage Cabinet
Vocational Training centers and educational institutions focused on industrial instruction now have access to a new digital tool designed to strengthen practical learning in the field of electrical installations: an interactive application that allows students to explore and recognize the main components of a low-voltage cabinet in an environment that closely resembles real industrial settings.
The app places the student inside an industrial plant, standing before a low-voltage cabinet connected to a machine. From there, it introduces a simple and effective learning challenge: identifying different components both in the physical installation and in their respective electrical diagrams. These include:
Residual Current Device (RCD), Fuse, Main Switch, Transformers, Power Supplies, Safety Relays, Push Buttons, Finder Relays, Contactors, Controllers, Encoders, Motors, Pneumatic Maintenance Unit, Electropneumatic Valves, Mode Selector, PLC Input, and digital safety inputs, among others.
The design of the application addresses a key need in technical education: linking theory with real-world equipment handling. Thanks to its visual and interactive approach, students can become familiar with components commonly found in industrial environments, improving their diagnostic skills, diagram interpretation, and readiness for workshops or workplace training.
