VIROO Studio 3.2 introduces new interaction capabilities, expanded language and localization support, application encryption improvements, enhanced equipment management, and a dedicated step forward in Igloo workflow compatibility.
This release also includes multiple fixes across grab interactions, teleportation, Room Player behavior, Meta Quest headset height detection, desktop controller visibility, and player configuration.
Improved interaction system
VIROO Studio includes several improvements to object interaction, desktop interaction, and grab behavior.
- Added a new 2D grab system, enabling mouse-based grab interactions in desktop mode.
- Added support for the grab interaction system in Viroo Lab.
- Added an immediate return method for Return on Dropped, improving how dropped objects are restored.
- Improved grab tooltip state handling.
Igloo support
This release adds support for Igloo mobile app workflows, expanding the range of immersive environments that can be connected to VIROO Studio.
With this addition, VIROO Studio can better support scenarios where Igloo systems are part of the immersive setup, helping teams manage and launch experiences beyond standard VR, desktop, or room-based configurations.

- Added a time API for time-related functionality.

Localization and language support
This release expands language configuration across both the application creation workflow and the player experience.
- Added language configuration support in the Application Builder.
Application build and upload security
Application security has been improved through encryption support during build and upload workflows.
- Applications are now encrypted during the build process.
- Added support for uploading encrypted applications.
Player and equipment management
Several improvements have been added to make equipment handling, batch actions, and player workflows more reliable and easier to manage.
- Improved equipment filtering in batch mode depending on the selected action.
- Power-on actions in batch mode are now only available for equipment with a configured MAC address.
- Updated the behavior of the quick access application launch button.
- Improved arena view layout adaptation to the available screen space.
- Added a browser-based application metadata provider.
- Disabled “content new” in players.
Controller and teleport improvements
This release improves controller configuration, teleport behavior, and movement-related interactions.
- Teleport points and free teleport can now be controlled separately.
- Added a controller remapping window to configure input mappings.
Editor, dashboard, and build workflow improvements
This release includes improvements to Unity Editor responsiveness, dashboard input handling, Vivox configuration, and build feedback.
- Reduced validation calls in the Unity Editor to improve editor responsiveness.
- Vivox application settings are now generated automatically.
- Improved feedback when the build button is disabled.
- Removed spatial keyboard validation.
- Text fields in the VIROO Studio Dashboard Account tab now automatically trim extra spaces.
Unity 6000.3.x LTS upgrade
VIROO Studio has been updated to Unity 6000.3.x LTS, establishing a new Unity version baseline for this release.
This upgrade includes updated templates, package compatibility adjustments, and validation of the main Studio workflows against the new Unity LTS version.
🐞 Bug Fixes
The following issues have been fixed in this release:
- Fixed an issue where dropped object return actions could fail after a user disconnected.
- Fixed collisions between gaze assistance snap volumes and teleport rays.
- Fixed an issue preventing users from standing up when interacting with trigger colliders.
- Fixed unintended interactions with world-space UI through screen-space UI elements.
- Fixed incorrect headset height detection on Meta Quest devices.
- Fixed an issue where extra parameters were passed to applications even when advanced settings were hidden.
- Fixed an issue where the left controller became disabled after teleporting from the VIROO menu.
- Fixed desktop controllers remaining active while invisible mode was enabled.
- Fixed Room Player repositioning issues.
- Fixed a crash caused by null equipment MAC address validation.
